Home Assistant on the iPad

Your Home Assistant,
as a screen on the table.

instnt hub is an iPad app that shows your Home Assistant the way an iPad should: faces you swipe through, tiles big enough for the couch, and screens that appear on their own when something happens. No dashboard in a browser, and you set everything up on the iPad itself.

Big enough for the couch.

Hold a light, blind, fan or lock and it fills the whole screen. Dimming is one swipe.

The doorbell comes over everything.

When someone rings, the camera is on screen and you can talk back (beta). Tested with Ring; other cameras from Home Assistant show live video.

Music on your speakers.

What is playing, the queue and the speakers, through the media players in Home Assistant. Tested with Sonos. HomePod and other speakers through Home Assistant.

The right screen at the right moment.

A companion appears on its own when a device in Home Assistant turns on, like the coffee maker or the PS5, and goes away when it turns off.

Talk to your home.

Swipe down from the top and ask. The voice assistant of your own Home Assistant answers, with the language model you choose there. Beta.
